About Mowia.com

Mowia.com is an online community designed for persons thirteen (13) years of age and older to share both factual information as well as opinions with other community members. Mowia.com will monitor, to the best of its ability, all content shared across its network to make sure said information complies with United States law. Mowia.com does not guarantee said information will comply with laws outside of the United States.

Collection of Information and Use of Said Information

Mowia.com collects personal information from its users who willingly choose to register for its services. Such information includes, but may not be limited to, name, email address, date of birth, city, state, zip code, and country code. Said information is used by Mowia to verify its users as well as to help adjust its services to better fit the needs of its users. User email addresses may be used by Mowia to contact the user about special promotions, changes in service, or to alert the user to activity on his or her account. If a user wishes to "opt-out" of such notifications, he or she may do so by going to the "myMowia" page, located on any Mowia content page in the top header bar, and then clicking on "Email Notifications."

Mowia may also log user Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser and operating system information, browsing trends, and activity on the Mowia network. Said non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third parties to help expand the Mowia network.

Use of Cookies

Mowia.com uses cookies on its website to track user login information and browsing trends. Cookies used to handle session information can be linked to the user's account, however said cookies contain no personal information nor are they used for purposes other than tracking session information and activity. Third party advertisers may also place cookies on the user's computer. These cookies are subject to the third party's privacy policy. If the user wishes to limit cookie control, he or she may have to ability to adjust cookie permissions in his or her web browser.

Third Pary Websites, Links, and Sharing of Information

Mowia.com contains links to third party websites. These websites are not owned nor controlled by Mowia, and Mowia does not necessarily agree with nor promote the content of third party websites. All interaction and sharing of information with said websites is subject to that website's privacy policy.

Mowia.com does not share any personal information, including name and email addresses, with third parties. In some cases Mowia may share aggregate user summaries and trends with third party advertisers, however said information is non-personally-identifiable.

Any third party advertising on Mowia.com is subject to the Mowia.com third party website and cookie policies.

Disclosure of Personal Information When Required by Law

Mowia.com does not share personal information with third parties unless the disclosure of such information is required to (1) conform to legal requirements as stated in subpoena or search warrant; (2) protect Mowia.com and its members from lawsuits that result from a user's actions; (3) comply with the Mowia Terms of Service and protect our rights.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Mowia.com may change its user privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect changes made to the website or as is required by law. Any changes to the policy will be posted on Mowia.com prior to the changes taking effect. Any changes in the way we use or share user information will be posted 30 days prior to the changes taking effect. Any user who chooses to use Mowia.com services after said changes take effect expressly agrees to the changes in policy.
